Ruyi Ru Porcelain Cup
The Ruyi Ru Porcelain Cup is a collaboration between COMIVERSE and the Hong Kong Palace Museum.
The piece was inspired by an antique from the museum's collection - the single-handle jade cup from the Song Dynasty. The design uses simple modern language to convey the implicit character of Ru porcelain. Combining gentle lines with the shape of the original jade cup, an elliptical handle has been created to echo the rounded body. Similar to jade but smoother, the Ruyi Ru Porcelain Cup is elegant and minimalistic.
