Saad-mat is the most popular handcraft product in Thai-Laos culture that is still well received today. “Suea” or “Saad” in their dialect refers to home appliances that transferred culture of the locals. Isan (Northern Thai) people use these mats for all kinds of activities such as for sleeping or relaxing. The local papyrus mats are woven meticulously in “Khid” fabric pattern.
