Faux

Faux was established by Louis Papachristou and architect Hugh Zimmern in 2006 in Hong Kong in a tiny 300 square foot showroom. Today, Faux is a thriving boutique design house and interior design firm with a growing design and production team who work out of a 3,000 square foot showroom in Ap Lei Chau. 

Faux designs original art-based products and homeware by taking the finest materials nature has to offer, combining them with original designs by well-known artists and exceptional craftsmanship. Passionate supporters of the arts, Louis and Hugh set up Artists’ Editions at Faux to marry their expertise in the world of architecture and interiors - textiles, ceramics and rugs – with works by contemporary artists, such as Tsang Kin Wah, Simon Birch, and Firenze Lai.

Faux develops branded gifts for its corporate clients including HSBC, Swire, and Jardines.
