The designer tries to seek the moment of the variation and evolution of living things from the atypical form of the Korean Moon Jar that holds a process of overcoming hardship. The organic materiality and gesture of his asymmetrically swollen metal illustrates a moment when a living thing preserves its life in a situation that it faces ― which is a fragmentary look of its phased evolution as well. It can also be applied to the struggle of a living thing that does not remain in a specific species but transforms and adapts itself to new environments over generations.
The Transition Series reflects all of us, who live amidst a global crisis.
