From the Tranquility series, this Lake Stone Incense Burner is inspired by the scenery described in Yun Lin Shi Pu, the first monograph about stones in China, by the Song Dynasty writer Du Wan.
When the incense is lit and placed on this burner, smoke will emerge from the hole at the top lid, creating an ethereal scene of clouds and mist. As the incenes burns, one can sit alone with arms stretched out, meditating to the heavenly landscapes while paying respect to the ancients.Â
