MusicCloth® Paper Cut Animals marries the ancient folk art of Chinese Paper Cut (jianzhi 剪纸) with MusicCloth® - an innovative material, handwoven out of cassette tapes. Made by Rehyphen®, each cloth is meticulously woven together by artisans using discarded cassette tapes from the analog days.
The result – a rich fabric layered with uniqueness and sentimentality. A symmetrical pair of auspicious rabbits are cut out skillfully by artisans, wishing blessings of auspicious fortune (富贵满堂) upon the receiver.
