Representing the tiger from the Chinese zodiac, this cup and saucer set is both a pursuit of beauty, as well as a symbol of friendship, good luck, and luxury.
The pattern has been hand-painted and is a modern interpretation of traditional symbolism. Made in Jingdezhen, China's "porcelain capital", with 45% bone powder content, the pieces are fired at high temperatures to create a smooth glaze and rich colors. The pattern is solidified at a high temperature and hand-painted in gold.
