Pravaah is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning “flow”. Energy exists all around us, and everyone is connected to one another by an energetic field. The five elements exist not only around us but within us. It is because of these energies, that we feel connections - to people, to places and things. Pravaah, a sustainable, zero-plastic lifestyle brand, taps into the energies of nature and allow them to flow into your space to create a strong circuit of positivity and comfort.
The brand was founded by Surbhi Agarwal driven by her own life experience. While studying in Milan, she was exposed firsthand to the dark underbelly of the ever so glamorous haute couture industry and was astounded to see the detrimental environmental impact and inhumane work conditions that are often not spoken about in the luxury fashion industry. Starting with in-depth research to find her niche in the sustainability market, she stumbled upon and fell in love with organic hemp fabric, and thus began the Pravaah journey.
Created and handcrafted with love by artisans in Rishikesh and Delhi using environment-friendly raw materials like hemp, organic cotton, cruelty free wool, and more, Pravaah puts equal focus on the wellbeing of the people who make their products as well as customer satisfaction.
Pravaah is a resolve to choosing better and providing an alternative to synthetic textile in India using local material and resources.
