Philux is a proud Filipino manufacturer and retailer of furniture founded in 1980. What started as a husband-and-wife duo with 2 carpenters has now become a 200-person team involved in production and retail, across a workshop and 7 showrooms around Metro Manila. Today, sisters Stephanie Kienle Gonzalez and Jessica Kienle Maxwell are co-Managing Directors – principled, passionate, and purpose-driven Changemakers who strive to make a positive impact for society.
Philux is known for exquisitely crafted collections of furniture designs for residential living rooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms, as well as hotels, restaurants, and offices. Ranging from classic to contemporary, the pieces are strongly characterized by refined aesthetics and a unique feel, born out of a harmonious fusion between design and function.
Philux partners closely with Green Antz Builders, a circular economy and innovation group which develops and deploys solutions to address waste management, particularly single-use plastic. To date, Philux and Green Antz have been able to upcycle close to 1,500 kilos of single-use plastic, proving how the circular economy model can truly foster long-term sustainability.
