When Jake Glibbery and Matt Coulthard, two British expatriates moved to Hong Kong, the definitive 24-hour city, they quickly learned how easy it can be to burn the candle at both ends whilst neglecting essential sleep and recharging. With experiences of sleep deprivation and acute insomnia, they sought a variety of sleep aids and quick fixes to improve the quality of their sleep rest, but to little avail. Inspired by their research into the therapeutic benefits of weighted blankets, they decided to design their own range of products with the goal of marrying luxury feel with sustainable materials.
After launching their first weighted blanket, Jake and Matt have since expanded the DORMU range to include blankets, bedding, and pillows. Jake and Matt are passionate about helping others not only to get more sleep but to get higher quality sleep every night.
