COLTEX Furnishing is an interior furnishing company founded by husband-wife duo, Cally Chan and Jacky Hung. Jacky studied at Warwick while Cally is a graduate from the Chelsea College of Art and Design. They started the company after the birth of their child, Jayden, as a symbol of new beginnings.
The word COLTEX is an acronym for “Color of Textile”. The brand aims at providing creative collections, original designs, and extraordinarily colored textiles. The styles and types of fabrics produced by the company are a reflection of their logo - a simple weaving pattern that is minimal, fresh, and modern.
COLTEX has now launched over 60 collections with more than 6,000 kinds of patterns. These products are manufactured in Europe with high-end quality materials. The wide variety of merchandise by the brand includes furniture upholstery, sheers, curtains, and so on.
Designers from COLTEX have been working closely with manufacturers on developing innovative fabrics and collections. Their ideas usually come from nature and art fields, such as the riverside, sharkskin, ink, and abstract artworks. Other than designing original and innovative fabrics, COLTEX has also been involved in various iconic projects, including the Excelsior and Fleming Hotel in Hong Kong, La Coste Hotel in Provence, Clubhouse in Beijing, as well as the Apartment in London.
