Born in 1974 in Beijing, Wang Xiaobo is one of the most celebrated post-70s Chinese contemporary artists in the international art world. Following the indoctrination of leading figures in Chinese oil painting like JIN Shang Yi, ZHU Nai Zheng and YANG Fei Yun, Wang graduated from the Department of Oil Painting, China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2000. His critically acclaimed works have been shown globally in venues including the "15th Biennale of Sydney" in 2005, the "Art Hamptons" in New York and "LA Art Show" in Los Angeles from 2013 to 2015, "NordArt 2016" in Hamburg, and "Art Stage Singapore 2016", etc.

Trained as artist and painter, Wataru Hatano moved to Kurotani in the northern Kyoto Prefecture 17 years ago. Fascinated by the texture and durability of the Kurotani Washi (traditional Japanese paper), he decided to learn the skill and become a papermaker himself.

The Kurotani area is famous for its many Kouzo trees (paper mulberry tree) and its clean, fresh water, which form the raw materials for washi. For over 800 years, traditional paper making skills have been developed in this area. Wataru Hatano’s contributions to the washi craft and the art world along with his dedication to the material are driven by his ambition of keeping the traditional art alive by creating more awareness about it and educating the next generation in the art. With a production unit that harvests the raw materials, produces the paper, and then transforms it into works of art as well as functional objects, Wataru Hatano is a man on a mission.

White Labelling, a wellness brand based in Hong Kong started by Sherwin Tsang, an ex-corporate lawyer turned creative, is dedicated towards making yoga mats and accessories, that take into consideration not just the health and well-being of users, but also the health and well-being of our planet. Their eco-friendly yoga mats are made with a soft vegan suede (recycled nylon, polyester) surface, plus a natural anti-slip rubber cushion bottom.

White Labelling mats are more than just a mat. It is a lifestyle piece which is so aesthetically pleasing that can be used for home decoration. Hence why they actively collaborate with local artists, such as Chinese watercolor painters (POMO), calligraphers, illustrators (Flowers & The Dog), and VR artists to imbue yoga accessories with creative life.

wohabeing is a design brand launched in September 2017 at Maison & Objet Paris by WOHA, the Singapore-based architectural practice founded by Wong Mun Summ and Richard Hassell.

While wohabeing is a young brand, WOHA have been designing interior objects for over 20 years, in the context of their architectural projects. Some pieces from their collections evolved from WOHA projects such as the acclaimed Alila Villas Uluwatu in Bali, Indonesia. The Oli, Sampan, Diaspora and Corak Collections feature new designs fully developed under wohabeing.

wohabeing works with collaborators with excellent social and environmental sustainability credentials and superb craftsmanship, such as Wewood of Portugal on the Ulu Indoor and Bintan Collections (furniture, lighting), WonderGlass of London on the Oli Collection (lighting), and fellow Singaporean partners Industry+ on the Ulu Outdoor Collection (outdoor furniture), Luzerne on the Diaspora Collection (tableware), apaiser on the Sampan Collection (bathware) and The Rug Maker on the Corak Collection (rugs).

WOODCO is a modern scent studio in Hong Kong, founded by a mother and daughter duo. All candles are slow-burners, made using sustainably harvested coconut wax from Malaysia along with premium-grade essential oils. Each candle is made with a concoction of up to 10 different oils creating a unique and understated scent.

WOODCO uses quintessentially Asian ingredients, including ylang ylang, ginger flower, matcha, white tea, shiso, Sichuan pepper, ginger, plum blossom and pomegranates in their candles.

Based in Suzhou, China, Wuer Studio redefines the Chinese saying, “朽木不可雕也” or “Dead wood cannot be carved” by doing just that. Using a combination of traditional techniques and modern technologies, the brand gives new life to wood by combining it with resin. Each product is a functional masterpiece that represents the best of the past along with present.

Wuer Studio actively participates in Design China fairs, as well as being one of the core attractions at Suzhou's famous river town crafts festival.
