Paper-Roses Hong Kong, China | Stationery
Paper-Roses, a Hong Kong based boutique illustration and design house, has created a range of beautiful, colorful and sometimes quirky greetings cards, stationery and gifts. Founder and artist Penny’s inspiration comes from her everyday life, which is why there are many Hong Kong related graphics in her designs, along with images that reflect her memories and the things her friends and family love. The contemporary (but with a touch of whimsy) designs with their clean lines and calming colors are perfect for a little get away from our everyday lives.

  3. Parkg Studio
Parkg Studio South Korea | Art

The artist behind Parkg Studio, Jieun Park's bold ink strokes at first glance seem like an exercise in dynamic abstraction. Yet upon closer inspection, they reveal a microcosm of light, colors, verdure – urban landscapes filling nocturnal openings.

Jieun's personal feelings are expressed as calligraphy, instinctively dropped on Korean hanji paper. She creates realistic images of the cities within abstract ink marks, adding colors to convey emotions felt during her trips – be it happiness, loneliness, or eagerness. Jieun's cityscapes show no signs of people living in the beautiful cities, yet the expression of light, color, greenery, and skyscapes make her work feel alive.

Jieun graduated from Fine Arts & Design Advertising at Konkuk University, South Korea, and was awarded prizes at the Painting Competitions of Seoul Digital Institute, Kyung-In, and Seoul Metro National Conference. Her works have been displayed in various art exhibitions in South Korea, Hong Kong, France, Italy and Singapore.

  4. Peter Yuill
Peter Yuill Hong Kong, China | Art

Peter Yuill was born in 1984 in Ottawa, Canada. He graduated from Sheridan College in Toronto, Canada with a BA in Illustration in 2009. Currently, he lives and works in Hong Kong. Yuill works in deeply complex geometric abstraction, which represents his exploration of the philosophical and existential desire to understand the meaning of existence through mathematical and geometric purity. His work is a combination of highly technical and complex ink drawing and painting on paper. Yuill's obsession with doing all the work by hand and being deeply involved in every aspect of making the art speak to the deeply meditative and spiritual connection he has with the process of making each piece.

Yuill’s works are collected by corporate collections including The Wharf, Jones Lang LaSalle Hong Kong and private collectors from New York, Los Angeles, London, Milan and Hong Kong. Among the clients he has collaborated are the Peninsula Hotel, the Parisian and Swire Group. He has also been exhibited around North America and Hong Kong. Recent exhibitions include the massive group exhibition The 14th Factory in Los Angeles, California and his solo exhibition The Absurdity of Meaning in Hong Kong.

  11. Pravaah
Pravaah India | Bedding + Wellness

Pravaah is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning “flow”. Energy exists all around us, and everyone is connected to one another by an energetic field. The five elements exist not only around us but within us. It is because of these energies, that we feel connections - to people, to places and things. Pravaah, a sustainable, zero-plastic lifestyle brand, taps into the energies of nature and allow them to flow into your space to create a strong circuit of positivity and comfort.

The brand was founded by Surbhi Agarwal driven by her own life experience. While studying in Milan, she was exposed firsthand to the dark underbelly of the ever so glamorous haute couture industry and was astounded to see the detrimental environmental impact and inhumane work conditions that are often not spoken about in the luxury fashion industry. Starting with in-depth research to find her niche in the sustainability market, she stumbled upon and fell in love with organic hemp fabric, and thus began the Pravaah journey.

Created and handcrafted with love by artisans in Rishikesh and Delhi using environment-friendly raw materials like hemp, organic cotton, cruelty free wool, and more, Pravaah puts equal focus on the wellbeing of the people who make their products as well as customer satisfaction.

Pravaah is a resolve to choosing better and providing an alternative to synthetic textile in India using local material and resources.
