Founder Adah Chan, who founded the homeware brand Baea in 2020, decided to focus on bedding not only because of the growing importance placed on rest but also due to her roots. Born in Hong Kong to a family that has worked in the design industry for more than three generations, Adah was exposed to exquisite craftsmanship from a young age. Her family runs the Bed & Bath luxury housewares brand, which has been a destination for luxury linens at Landmark Prince’s Building in Hong Kong SAR since the 1980s.

Respect for nature is at the heart of everything Baea does, and therefore they choose organically grown cotton and biodegradable materials. And it’s the reason they partner with highly reputable makers who prioritize the well-being of artisans while minimizing their footprint.​ Expertly crafted in Italy and Portugal, the linens are entirely natural, right down to their plant-based buttons. And as with all Baea products, the packaging is completely biodegradable.

Bambuhay innovates and manufactures sustainable and eco-friendly products made from renewable resources and materials like bamboo. Some of their star products include the first Plantable Toothbrush in the world, the first Bamboo Toothbrush manufactured in the Philippines, Bamboo Natural Purifier, Bamboo Anti-Microbial Soap, and Reusable Bamboo Drinking Straw.

A truly sustainable operation, Bambuhay utilizes the waste by-products from the manufacturing process to create Bamboo Activated Carbon used in cosmetics, personal care, and home cleaning products, while the smoke produced during carbonization is captured and turned into organic insecticide.

Barbara Raimondo is a ceramic sculptor born in Liguria, Italy and living in Hong Kong. After working several years in the financial sector, Barbara decided to follow her passion and leverage what she learned during her Masters in Visual Art. In 2017, she started to practice ceramics again, searching for her own expressions and style. At the end of 2020, Barbara launched her first collection, Liguria.

Barbara's work is deeply influenced by key cultural elements of Liguria, Italy - terraces, red soil, olive trees, and white waves crashing onto the coast. To amplify her designs and to connect those with her land, Barbara creates naked clay sculptures as reminders of her roots.

From Xiamen, China, BASAO captures tea aromas, fragrances of seasons, the spirit of traditions, and the strength offered by nature. This is how BASAO tea creates an authentic and mindful experience which wakes the senses and feeds the soul.

While BASAO respects traditions, it also dedicate themselves to exploring tea culture in new and creative ways. The brand believe that changing perspectives on traditional approaches can sometimes lead to refreshing new concepts. This is reflected in BASAO products, which carry the quintessence of classic Chinese tea - reinterpreted.

Founded by Cheng Keren, Being Studio produces one-of-a-kind products handmade from earthen materials. Each object represents the transformation from a piece of our planet to a household product – its state of “being” always remaining constant.

“Being is the basic property of all things and visible things are the result. Each object from the Being Studio is both a stone from a mountain as well as the artist's abstract thoughts. I always hope that it will last forever, and I always realize that it is just a sequential being. Not positive, not negative, not follow-suit. It’s everyone,” says the designer.

Cheng Keren has a background in fine arts and design having studied under Professor Wang Jianzhong at the Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University as well as masters Lu Jun and his wife, Fan Jianhua, in Jiangsu Province.

BETAS is a contemporary oriental lifestyle brand founded by Shanghai Top Ten Designer, Dr. Hui Zhong and Chinese Arts and Crafts Master, Professor Jianxin Xiong.

BETAS is a local slang word from Zhejiang, meaning "slowly", which expresses the unique Chinese aesthetic of slow life in the East. It connects tradition and modernity, interpreting the beauty of Chinese harmony and balance.

Deng Bingbing is the founder of two iconic and award-winning China design brands: design studio, Bing Design, and homeware brand, PILING PALANG. Born into an artistic family in the northern Chinese city of Tianjin, Bing has been creating artwork since the age of four, and went on to study at the Arts University, Tianjin. He then spent a decade in Melbourne, Australia working as a graphic designer for an advertising and fashion label. Bing Design was founded upon his return to China in 2001 and PILING PALANG in 2009.

PILING PALANG combines traditional Chinese culture with modern hues, incorporating ancient symbols and motifs in a new fashion using contrasting proportions and colors. Each object is an artistic celebration of the craftmanship of Chinese ceramics, cloisonné, or lacquerware. Since its inception, PILING PALANG has seen immense success in the home decor space. In 2011, its cloisonnné Chinese Lantern Vase won the EDIDA International Design Award in the tableware category.

Botanic Pretti5 believes that beauty glows from within. The brand was born from the ambition to create clean products suitable for sensitive skin inspired by nature. Harnessing the power of Chinese medicine and unleashing it using cutting-edge Western technologies, Botanic Pretti5 is a modern skincare solution designed to combat stressed and sensitive skin, pollution, and premature aging.

Botanic Pretti5 founder, Dorothy Chau, noticed that her friends’ skin was getting easily irritated, with redness and even rashes, due to pollution and an overwhelming amount of alcohol, fragrances, and sensitizing surfactants commonly found in beauty products. This discovery led her to embark on a quest to explore natural avenues, bringing her to the doorstep of a Chinese medicine practitioner. Based in Hong Kong, byLeona designs and produces Jingdezhen inspired porcelain, bone china, and mixed media lifestyle products. Born in Hong Kong and educated in the UK, Leona Fung, the founder, had a successful career in finance before deciding to pursue her lifelong passion of design.

Leona's signature product series merges traditional oriental culture and elements found in ancient products and art forms with new technology and innovative design. Leona seeks to bring rich oriental culture from China, Japan, and India, back to life with a modern twist, based on proprietary perspectives and interpretation by mixing them with Western aesthetics.

byLeona's products are original, fun, sophisticated, and practical for day-to-day usage. Besides aesthetics, they also tell stories from the past and connect customers to their heritage. The company also offers seasonal themes and personalization for special occasions.

In 2017, byLeona was successfully admitted into the Design Incubation Programme, which was fully supported by CreateHK of Hong Kong SAR Government. As one of the HK Caring Company, byLeona has been involved in various charity works and continues to give back to the community.
