While the content of the vase constantly comes and goes, the 12-sided shape of the vase symbolizes the inevitable passage of time and reminds us of the different stages of life.
This vase has 12 facets on both the open mouth and the body, each of which has been carved with the precision of a master craftsman's knife for an even finish.
The surface of the vase has a distinctive grainy feel to it, which experienced craftsmen have experimented for months with the even spraying of ground glaze to achieve this delicate frosted feel. From a distance, the high quality light grey tones and the soft, natural texture of the frosted surface make this earthy vase a soothing and discreet addition to your home.
1. Product is fragile; to be handled gently when in use and stored with care to prevent sudden shock, pressure and collisions.
2. Microwave safe; however, any ceramic with gold or platinum inlay cannot be heated.
3. Do not place porcelain in an environment where there is a steep change in temperature.
4. Wash by hand or in the dishwasher with a mild detergent. When cleaning, place a rubber mat or a thick towel at the bottom of the sink. Coffee and tea stains can be cleaned with toothpaste and a soft-bristled toothbrush.
