MIKADO 帝 means emperor or royalty. The opulent art Majestic Splendor is created by Adeline to celebrate the sensory feast this premium Daiginjo offers. Crafted with the best Yamada-Nishiki rice polished to a low 35%, a luxury that sets it apart from other Daiginjo which are typically between 45%-50% rice-polishing-ratio, this superior sake is then drip-pressed in the organic Shizuku Shibori tradition, an extravagant and time-consuming method of natural extraction without the use of man-made tools and machinery or human intervention.
MIKADO has an elegant clarity and a mellow fruity aroma. The fresh sharpness is surprisingly pleasant and blends in perfect harmony with the slightly dry yet full, rich taste.
