Butterfly pea flowers are commonly found in South and Southeast Asia. The flower is made up of a compound called anthocyanins, a type of antioxidant commonly found in other dark-colored foods such as blueberries, grapes, and eggplant. When steeped, the flower imbues the water with its natural vivid blue color.
Brew Guide • Hot Brew: Boil 350ml of water, add 1 tea bag, and steep for 5 minutes. • Cold Brew: Add 2 tea bags to 750ml of room temperature water. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
