The Golden Age of Travel speaks of the time of discovery when European explorers, such as Sir Stamford Raffles, landed on the tropical island of Singapore. The Raffles Hotel’s famous Long Bar with its well-loved ceiling fans can be found glimmering in this artwork. Cut from traditional Southeast Asian fabrics, the stripes cascade down from the upper right corner. The striped pattern is reminiscent of tigers and other creatures that roamed wild within the thick tropical jungles of Singapore.
This canvas print is a digital reproduction of an original artwork by Deborah McKellar.

Canvas prints have been coated for scratch, stain, and water resistance. Due to numerous reports of framed prints hung using adhesive-backed hooks / strips falling off the wall, we strongly suggest using more secure hanging methods (like nails) or opting for unframed prints.
