The shape of this teacup is formed naturally during the glass blowing process. The air bubbles are deliberately trapped in the glass to form a unique pattern on the transparent cup. Once tea is poured into the cup, the bubbles will appear as if in motion: gathering, dispersing or floating. Never able to be caught, the air bubbles represent the elusiveness of a dream.
Founded by the Shanghai Museum of Glass, Let's Talk Glass is a progressive, multi-faceted and experimental glass art and design program. They integrate glass into innovative, expertly-crafted wares that complement a sophisticated and creative lifestyle. Their commitment at Let's Talk Glass is to share with you their passion for this remarkable material and the infinite possibilities for creative expression from glass.
Note: Surface irregularities are inherent in the glass making process and should not be seen as flaws. They contribute to the unique qualities of the vessel. In the process of glass making, a small amount of bubbles is inevitable.
