SUGO was born in 2018 with the sole mission of creating game changing contemporary biophilia furniture designs. Started by husband and wife team Kevin Chu and Giulia Dibonaventura, they are serious lovers of nature and fuse advance sustainable technologies with nature inspired elements. All SUGO ARTNITURE (art-furniture) pieces focus on working with or giving back to nature and they are all produced sustainably in limited quantities. They also have the incredible ability to purify the environment of virus, bacteria and pollution using a special NASA tested and endorsed photocatalytic technology.

Kevin is also the founder and director of COC design based in Hong Kong and Italy. He was educated in Architectural Association and Bartlett School of Architecture in London under architects Peter Cook and Marcos Cruz and was the sole recipient of Bartlett Archigram Design Award in 2001. Giulia, who is from the Abruzzo region of Italy, has extensive directorial experience working in the Italian and Chinese design education industry. Many of Kevin’s creations have won international awards including German Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, IDA Los Angeles, A' Design Award Italy, Architizer USA, China Red Star Award, and Perspective Award Hong Kong.
